Can I book for more than 4 people?

Due to our limited space, online bookings are capped at 4. Email us for larger groups.

What if I make multiple bookings?

To keep things fair, we may cancel duplicate bookings made under different names.

Where will we be seated?

All seating is on stools. Bookings for two are usually at the bar counter. Let us know if you have a preference, but changes aren’t guaranteed.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes, we always try to keep a few tables available for walk-ins. During the warmer months, we typically have more availability for those without reservations.

Can I bring a pram inside?

Space is limited, especially on weekends. Please tell us in advance if you’re bringing a pram — we may ask you to fold and store it during your meal.

Are dogs allowed?

Small, well-behaved dogs are welcome indoors (larger dogs outside). Dogs must stay under the table and off furniture. Please don’t feed them from the menu. Please notify us in advance if bringing a dog as space is limited.

How do I share dietary needs or special requests?

Add them to your booking notes or email us. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Are there vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?

Yes! Our kitchen is happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets. To ensure we meet your specific needs, we recommend getting in touch before your booking so we can make the necessary arrangements.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my reservation?

If you need to cancel, we kindly ask that you contact us at least 24 hours in advance. This helps us manage our bookings and offer the table to other guests. Please note that a cancellation fee of £20 per person may apply for cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation time or in the case of no-shows.

How long in advance can I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance.

Are your toilets accessible?

We have a dedicated prestige portaloo for our customers, located outside. However, please be aware that, due to its external location, it may occasionally be unavailable due to weather conditions. Unfortunately, the portaloo does not have disabled access, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Disabled loo access can be found further along the Harbour Arm within the public facilities until 5pm.

Is parking available nearby?

While we don’t have allocated parking, there is paid parking available on the Harbour Arm.

Will my reservation be cancelled if the weather is too severe?

Our restaurant is located on Margate’s iconic stone pier, a beautiful spot often affected by the weather. Due to the unique nature of the building and its exposure to the elements, we may need to cancel or modify reservations in cases of severe weather. We will notify you in advance if this occurs, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Can I bring my own wine?

Yes — corkage is £25 per bottle, with a maximum of one bottle per person and a limit of six bottles for larger groups.
